Kolapore received about 18 cm of snow yesterday and overnight. Be prepared to break trail today. The snow gauge is up to 42 cm, although that is the unconsolidated snow depth. The additional snow has improved conditions in the west half of the County Forest, where the recent logging left ruts. The parking lot on Grey Road 2 at Kolapore has been plowed this morning by our dedicated volunteer. The roads at the east entrance to the County Forest are well plowed, and offer roadside parking.
