With the heavy use of the trails on the weekend, many of the trails are now hard packed and fast. Hills on popular trails are quite scraped from snow plowing, and some downhills may be treacherous. Many of the more heavily used trails probably move up a grade in terms of degree of difficulty. I hear that sections of Northwest Passage have been heavily walked on, and aren't pleasant for skiing. On Monday, parts of County Forest were still quite easy, although novices probably won't like the small hills on the access trail starting at Grey Road 2. I'll post again after we get some new snow.
